About the position

The Manager of IT Organizational Change Management will lead all aspects of change management for IT strategic and transformation initiatives within Ahold Delhaize USA. This role is crucial for the planning, strategy, and execution of large-scale IT transformation programs, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the process. The position requires collaboration across IT and business teams to develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that support operating model transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change strategy, change impact, change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication plan, and training across all strategic IT initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive ADKAR change journeys and plans by stakeholder persona, including change, mindset shifts, communications, and learning.
  • Collaborate with the ADUSA Communications team to develop and execute communication strategies and plans for all stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with ADUSA business change management to build and deliver an enterprise-wide change management strategy to support operating model transformations.
  • Work with IT learning and development to build and execute learning plans.
  • Advise and support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
  • Manage a team of Change Leadership project managers (contractors) and ensure standard change management practices are applied across the organization.
  • Collaborate across IT, supporting functions, and business stakeholder groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in organizational change management.
  • Proven change leader with demonstrated skill and experience in change management principles and experience leading change management in large-scale IT transformations and/or strategic initiatives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead teams through ambiguity to solve problems and drive results.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
  • Experience in developing and delivering multi-mode communications (verbal and written) that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Demonstrated influencing skills and independent thinking when working with a broad range of stakeholders, from senior leaders to subject matter experts.
