About the position

The Manager IT Product Construction Destination at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for managing design coordination for IT construction projects related to destination products. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while developing and implementing IT strategies that align with business objectives. The manager will support project execution through documentation, research, performance monitoring, and coordination of site requirements, while advocating for guest experience and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage design coordination for IT construction projects for destination products.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Support project execution with documentation, industry research, reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Work with product teams to translate product concepts into user stories and design deliverables.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to manage scope expectations and advocate for guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with partners across the organization through various mediums.
  • Manage capability requirements and integration with product owners for architecture and build out.
  • Create collaborative partnerships among portfolio stakeholders for resource planning and budget management.
  • Engage and onboard needed resources from other business departments for project implementation.
  • Support Subject Matter Leads and Project Managers with delivery and adherence to methodology.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the amusement park industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, using data to develop project business cases.
  • 3+ years of product management experience preferred.
  • Experience with technical user and business issues in a fast-paced hospitality organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • Experience in executing heavy IT infrastructure projects in a construction environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in IT project management.
