At Schwab, the Manager of IT Product Management plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our streaming trading platforms and associated administrative applications, including thinkorswim, TOS Mobile, TOS Web, and other related Trader Group Applications. This position is pivotal in proactively monitoring all systems for potential issues and acting as the central point for remediation and resolution when issues arise. The individual will prioritize decisions related to time-sensitive issues, ensuring that our trading platforms operate without interruption. In addition to monitoring and resolving issues, this role supports Trader Web-related activities such as Futures/FX OLA, TD Direct Investing Support, Portfolio Margin OLA, and TraderWise/Autotrade functionalities. The IT Product Manager will assist with product development initiatives at all stages of the product development life cycle and take on additional applications in a support role. This includes serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the TOS suite of products across the business and coordinating all upcoming change activities for risk management and understanding within the TOS ecosystem. The responsibilities of the IT Product Manager include supporting production by testing reported issues, monitoring production support for Active Trading products, and working with various business and technical teams to address performance issues. The role also involves documentation and tracking of production issues, creating and maintaining requirements for upcoming development projects, and collaborating with internal and external teams to gather product requirements. The IT Product Manager will also assist development groups with prioritizing feature requests and defect tickets, integrating feedback into development requirements, and coordinating user acceptance testing prior to releases. Overall, this position is integral to managing the TD Ameritrade Development lifecycle for Active Trader products and ensuring the successful rollout of new features and products.
