About the position

The Manager, IT Product Management at Salesforce is responsible for engaging with business users to understand their needs, analyzing and prioritizing requirements, and recommending solutions for implementation. This role involves driving project deliverables, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring that solutions align with enterprise standards. The manager will also lead and support team members to improve work processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to understand needs and prioritize requirements.
• Drive and maintain project deliverables including specifications and testing artifacts.
• Collaborate with technical teams to communicate specifications for development and testing.
• Identify test scenarios and execute testing for system and user acceptance.
• Partner with business and solution teams to leverage integration for evolving requirements.
• Ensure solutions promote simplicity and efficiency while conforming to standards.
• Provide functional leadership during technology enhancements and upgrades.
• Lead and support team members to streamline work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in IT product management or related field.
• Experience with aggregation, real-time ingestion, JIRA, JAD, UI design leads, API, XML, SQL, Business Intelligence reporting, and User Acceptance Testing.
