The Manager - ITAM Software Engineering at SHI will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT Asset Management (ITAM) applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for building next-generation ITAM applications that leverage AWS and adhere to common industry standards. This role requires a full-stack approach, meaning the manager will oversee the entire development process from conception to deployment, ensuring that the applications are scalable, low latency, and intelligent, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. As the Software Development Manager (SDM) for ITAM, you will lead a talented cross-functional team that includes software engineers and quality assurance professionals. Your leadership will be crucial in refining and deploying a set of technologies that meet the needs of our clients. You will set attainable goals for each team member, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure that appropriate software development procedures and processes are followed. Your ability to monitor, evaluate, and ensure the completion of tasks and projects will be essential in delivering high-quality software solutions on schedule. In addition to technical oversight, you will represent the software development team in various meetings, participate in design control activities, and collaborate with IT professionals to set specifications for new applications. Your role will also involve understanding client requirements and translating them into application features, providing technical support to team members, and maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of IT Transformation, making it a key role within the organization.
