About the position

The Manager, Key Accounts at Breakthru Beverage Group is responsible for driving volume, share, and profit growth in key accounts. This role involves managing relationships with buyers, collaborating with various teams, and executing marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain key accounts by effectively communicating marketing plans and developing relationships with key influencers.
  • Lead the development of annual plans for key accounts that state agreed brand and consumer strategies.
  • Employ strategies to strengthen the position as the wholesaler of choice in account planning processes.
  • Educate account staff on priority brands through training seminars and business insights.
  • Manage and evaluate promotional spending by account priority and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in developing account-specific presentations and goals for volume, profit, and merchandising execution.
  • Participate in strategy briefing sessions and provide feedback on program executions and effectiveness.
  • Drive volume and profit growth of multi-unit accounts and communicate updated market competitive information.
  • Understand company pricing and product programming by maintaining accurate records and reviewing pricing schedules.
  • Manage supplier surveys and execute follow-ups as necessary.
  • Establish and present merchandising objectives relative to brand priority for each account.
  • Produce point of sale materials and ensure maximum brand visibility within accounts.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events and brand promotions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales.
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs including presentation software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytic and reporting skills with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
