About the position
The Logistics Launch Manager at L'Oréal is responsible for overseeing and managing the Supply Chain functions necessary for successful product launches at the Piscataway Manufacturing facility. This role involves implementing Supply Chain methodologies, managing project timelines, providing solutions to operational bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient inventory management while maximizing customer service. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the end-to-end delivery of Supply Chain functions and support for new product initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage Supply Chain functions for product launches.
- Evaluate project timelines and provide feasibility feedback to divisions.
- Provide solutions to bottlenecks affecting launch implementation.
- Manage deployment of production plans with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure efficient inventory management for products manufactured at the Piscataway plant and subcontractors.
- Deliver content for annual portfolio planning to ensure timely launches and capabilities.
- Perform any other duties necessary for continuous operations flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain discipline required.
- 4+ years of experience in a high-performance manufacturing facility, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, pivot tables, presentations, and database management.
