About The Position

The Manager of LDC Operations at Lennox is responsible for overseeing the Local Distribution Center's performance within the Regional Distribution Network. This role focuses on ensuring safety, operational efficiency, budget adherence, and inventory accuracy while leading and developing the distribution center's team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in distribution operations.
• Previous direct management experience in a large, multi-shift, high-volume warehousing environment is preferred.
• HVAC experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution center best practices, policies, procedures, and terms of trade.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to build successful teams.
• Familiarity with Lean distribution methodologies.
• Experiential knowledge of fiscal control, budget forecasting, and distribution operations metrics.
• Strong decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in HVAC industry.
• Familiarity with Lean distribution methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Local Distribution Center and integrate it into the Regional Distribution Network.
• Champion safety for the facility, ensuring timely training completion and adherence to safety and OSHA policies.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain all machinery and equipment in the distribution center.
• Increase warehouse productivity through Continuous Improvement methodologies and standardization.
• Manage inventory to maintain accurate records and ensure maximum customer service.
• Analyze and resolve operational problems as they arise.
