About the position

At Dr. Reddy's, we are seeking an ambitious and energetic individual to join our team as the Lead Associate Marketing Rx (Prescription). This role is pivotal in developing and executing marketing and product management strategies for assigned in-line generic prescription products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth, maximizing product performance, and achieving revenue, profit, and market share goals. This position will have a meaningful impact on the business performance of North America Generics, contributing to our mission of making healthcare solutions more accessible and affordable. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies by analyzing the external environment, market trends, and customer behavior. This analysis will help produce accurate forecasts for both new and existing products, and you will provide essential inputs to the Supply Chain for effective supply planning. You will lead product growth program development in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring that we meet our revenue, profit, and market share targets for the assigned portfolio. Post-launch, you will manage the assigned products by tracking sales performance, forecasting demand, allocating inventory, and making necessary adjustments to production and pricing. Conducting secondary research on products, customers, competitors, and monitoring FDA developments will be key responsibilities. You will generate data-based reports to inform decisions on product management and new product selection. Additionally, you will review product pricing against market trends and make adjustments as required, collaborating with various groups to ensure viable and profitable pricing of assigned Rx products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy for assigned in-line generic prescription products.
  • Analyze external environment, market trends, and customer behavior to produce forecasts for new and existing products.
  • Provide inputs to Supply Chain for supply planning.
  • Lead product growth program development with the sales team to drive business growth.
  • Track product sales performance and forecast demand post-launch.
  • Allocate inventory and adjust production and pricing accordingly.
  • Conduct secondary research on products, customers, competitors, and therapeutic risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor FDA developments and generate data-based reports for product management decisions.
  • Review product pricing vs. market pricing and recent price changes for assigned products.
  • Adjust product prices as required and collaborate with various groups to agree on new prices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of pharmaceutical experience in product management and business analytics.
  • Understanding of generic pharmaceutical market dynamics, contracts, customers, and pricing.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office Suite), analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
