About the position

The position is for a Lead Information Architect at Intel's Programmable Solutions Group, which is transitioning to a standalone business unit. The role focuses on designing and implementing content management and information architecture strategies, leading a team of technical writers, and enhancing content usability and accessibility through effective management of the authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structuring, organizing, and managing digital information to enhance content usability and accessibility.
• Manage technical writers' authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS, preferably Ixiasoft.
• Create and maintain information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and structured content frameworks to support content reuse and consistency.
• Develop and maintain custom plugins and enhancements using DITA-OT and XSLT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content needs and translate them into scalable IA solutions.
• Identify and implement productivity tools, automation, and organization metric dashboards using Python, JavaScript, Web2Py, Power BI, and other technologies.
• Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals.
• Partner with UX/UI and developers to create a seamless user experience.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Lead a team of content strategists and software developers, providing guidance and support to achieve business goals.
• Provide regular performance feedback and support professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a STEM-related field.
• 9+ years of experience in technical content management with a focus on DITA-OT and XSLT.
• 4+ years of experience with Ixiasoft CCMS, including creating custom plugins.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of FPGA technology is a plus.
• Leadership experience.
• Experience with information architecture, content strategy, and taxonomy.
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Web2Py, and other relevant technologies.
