About the position

As a Manager of Learning Enablement at Travelers, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing learning technology solutions that align with the organization's business goals. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create a comprehensive learning strategy, conducting needs analysis, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the effectiveness of learning solutions. You will also be responsible for leading a team and contributing to the overall learning technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a comprehensive learning strategy, including product ownership and leadership consultation.
  • Partner with management at all levels to assess and develop planning strategies and initiatives.
  • Support and influence organizational initiatives related to learning objectives.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine scope and required resources.
  • Support business continuity efforts to streamline internal processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendors.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Learning Technology Roadmap and develop training tools.
  • Develop measures to ensure learning solutions are effective and aligned with business strategy.
  • Report on the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Stay updated on learning technology best practices and trends.
  • Provide feedback on capabilities and develop Learning Enablement staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years of experience in Insurance, Operations, and Technology, with three years in creating and implementing technology standards and best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Strong data analysis skills to interpret trends and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for consulting and presenting information.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage change and develop team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Learning, Insurance Operations, Technology, or related fields.
