About the position

The Manager of Learning Enablement at Travelers Insurance is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to assess learning needs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the effectiveness of learning solutions. The position emphasizes the use of learning technology to enhance training programs and support business continuity efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a comprehensive learning strategy, including product ownership and leadership consultation.
  • Partner with management to assess and develop planning strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine scope and required resources.
  • Support business continuity efforts to streamline internal processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendors.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Learning Technology Road map and develop training tools.
  • Develop measures to ensure learning solutions are effective and aligned with business strategy.
  • Stay updated on learning technology best practices and trends.
  • Accountability for the development of Learning Enablement staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years of experience in Insurance, Operations, and Technology, with three years in creating and implementing technology standards and best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Strong data analysis skills to interpret trends and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for consulting and presenting information.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage change and develop team members.
  • Four years of experience in Learning, Insurance Operations, Technology, or related experience.
