About the position

The Manager, Learning Enablement at Travelers Companies, Inc. is responsible for developing and implementing learning technology solutions that enhance organizational learning experiences. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create comprehensive learning strategies that align with business goals, conducting needs analyses, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the effectiveness of learning solutions. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to influence and support organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a comprehensive learning strategy, including product ownership and leadership consultation.
  • Partner with management to assess and develop planning strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine scope and required resources.
  • Support business continuity efforts to streamline internal processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendors.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Learning Technology Road map and develop training tools.
  • Develop measures to ensure learning solutions are effective and aligned with business strategy.
  • Report on the effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Stay updated on learning technology best practices and trends.
  • Accountability for the development of Learning Enablement staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Six years of experience in Insurance, Operations, and Technology, with three years in creating and implementing technology standards.
  • Ability to think strategically and resolve issues.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Strong data analysis skills to interpret trends and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for consulting and presenting information effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage change and develop team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Learning, Insurance Operations, Technology, or related fields.
