About the position

The Learning Experience Manager at AdventHealth Corporate is responsible for supervising the learning experience team in the design, delivery, and logistics of learning programs. This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive learning strategies in collaboration with organizational leaders, ensuring employees can effectively demonstrate their knowledge and skills in their job duties. The position plays a critical role in managing training delivery, assessing training needs, and improving learning solutions to support organizational readiness and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the learning experience team in the design and delivery of learning programs.
  • Conceptualize and execute comprehensive training plans for operational and project-based change initiatives.
  • Oversee daily operations of the training team, including virtual and in-person training delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for risks and issues identified by team members.
  • Maintain communication with the Sr. Manager regarding team progress and training development status.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop learning solutions for complex issues.
  • Assess lessons learned from training delivery and recommend solutions to close training gaps.
  • Analyze incoming training requests, scope projects, and determine the best delivery methods.
  • Provide leadership in content development and establish learning objectives.
  • Design and develop various learning experiences to support stakeholder readiness.
  • Establish mechanisms for reporting progress and risks related to training projects.
  • Facilitate learning solutions through various modalities, including ILT and webinars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Learning, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in learning design and delivery.
  • Minimum of one year of leadership experience in management or supervisory roles.
  • Experience with course authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or Articulate.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Education or a learning-related field.
  • Experience in project-related work.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Exposure to project management and change management strategies.
