About the position

The Manager, Lifecycle Management - Advanced Therapies at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of products within the Advanced Therapies Supply Chain portfolio. This role involves driving the implementation of key initiatives related to product technical roadmaps and lifecycle management plans, ensuring consistency, reliability, innovation, and sustainability in products and processes. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with various departments to meet both current and future needs in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of lifecycle management, new technology, and automation projects at all manufacturing sites.
  • Engage key functions to define and advance business process models and lead change initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster an operational excellence culture across all functions.
  • Ensure technical and manufacturing requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle of new solutions.
  • Conduct effective risk management strategies to support the network of manufacturing sites.
  • Maintain a robust technical support network related to lifecycle management and new technologies.
  • Oversee change controls for launch/lifecycle management events.
  • Translate strategic product roadmaps into execution plans for programs.
  • Identify bottleneck areas in the end-to-end value chain and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Drive competitiveness and cost reduction programs across Advanced Therapies.

Requirements

  • University/Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or Equivalent with 6-8 Years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience; OR a Masters/PhD degree in Engineering with 4-6 years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience in a biopharma/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong critical, scientific, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expertise in cell/gene therapy is preferred.
  • Experience managing people and small teams supporting multiple project teams is preferred.
  • Experience working with high throughput automation is preferred.
