About the position

The Manager, Live Events & Venue Operations at TMRW Sports is responsible for the advance planning and execution of various operational aspects for live events, including security, parking, signage, and general setup. This role involves overseeing game day operations and supporting events at the SoFi Center, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and participants.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with onsite activations (sponsor-related, experiential, concourse and plaza)
  • Oversee temporary tent setup for box office and security checkpoints including furniture and power needs, barricades and stanchions
  • Serve as point of contact for Evolv, overseeing magnetometer setup at public and back of house entrances
  • Serve as point of contact for Fortress, overseeing pedestals at exterior gates and interior scanning and checkpoint locations
  • Oversee private security management by scheduling and managing private security needs for TGL and non-TGL events, to include visitors and guests in advance of Season One
  • Manage parking and valet by scheduling and managing parking operations with the appropriate vendors
  • Create and implement the temporary signage required for TGL and non-TGL events, including road signs, parking and directional signage, interior wayfinding signage and credential boards
  • Support in the planning and communication related to the Palm Beach Gardens Police and Fire Department(s)
  • Partner with Kirkland Events and other transportation providers to ensure smooth arrival and exit process, overseeing relationships and planning with UBER
  • Manage fleet of Genesis vehicles
  • Lead multiple game day management vendors and a small group of game day operational staff

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sporting or other live event management with a background in security, parking, signage, permitting, transportation, tenting & temporary furniture
  • Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Sports Management/Administration or related field
  • Ability to safely operate equipment (to include pallet jacks, lifts, forklifts, golf carts, trailers, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and work in varied environments - both indoors and outdoors
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required
  • Must be forklift certified
