About the position

The Manager of Loss Prevention at Sephora is responsible for implementing and overseeing all Loss Prevention programs within the Distribution Center. This role focuses on reducing shrinkage through employee awareness, investigations, physical security measures, and compliance checks, while managing both Sephora personnel and third-party security services.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Loss Prevention programs to reduce shrinkage in the Distribution Center.
  • Develop a culture of Loss Prevention awareness through training and communication.
  • Investigate and resolve theft incidents involving employees, vendors, and drivers.
  • Support Field Loss Prevention by addressing shipment discrepancies and conducting weekly reporting reviews.
  • Maintain and monitor physical security controls, including key control, card access, alarms, and CCTV systems.
  • Manage third-party security guard services to ensure effective training and deployment of staff.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control to analyze cycle count reports and identify theft trends.
  • Participate in management meetings to develop shrink initiatives and align business focuses.
  • Build relationships with law enforcement and security professionals to enhance loss prevention efforts.
  • Assist the Director of Transportation Services in identifying compliance deviations within supply chain transportation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Loss Prevention experience, preferably in a distribution center.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with CCTV, alarm, and card access systems is preferred.
  • Ability to travel routinely to assigned locations, including local and out-of-town travel.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to develop cohesive teams.
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of electronic security technology and fire suppression systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office and loss prevention applications.
