About the position

The Manager of Maintenance and Warehouse Operations at Eat'n Park Hospitality Group is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and managing warehouse operations. This role includes accountability for hiring, training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The manager will collaborate with peers to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies by implementing safety training programs and conducting regular audits.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and evaluate ongoing facilities systems, providing appropriate instruction for safe work.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for maintenance and warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Regularly review key performance indicators, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Facilities department to inform maintenance team scheduling and project management.
  • Execute maintenance work orders in accordance with maintenance procedures and established scheduling deadlines.
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly schedules to maintenance technicians for restaurant visits and special maintenance work needs.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure standards are met, identify and resolve issues, and strive for continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience required.
  • Proven expertise in team leadership and safety compliance.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with high quality standards.
