About the position

The Manager of Manufacturing Finance at Bimbo Bakeries USA plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to the Bakery Finance Playbook and driving consistent financial analysis across bakeries. This position involves developing financial tools and standard operating procedures (SOPs), setting expectations for Bakery Finance Leaders, and managing deliverables. The role also includes supporting open Bakery Finance positions and training new hires, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Business Partner for Bakery Finance Leadership, providing support, guidance and training on the most efficient ways of operating
• Developing & maintaining a Bakery Finance Playbook, creating consistency across BBU
• Working closely with the bakeries to identify, design, and develop systems, tools, and processes required to support the Business
• Provide continuous training for Bakery Finance Leaders, ensuring expectations and requirements are understood and met
• Effectively execute communication of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining consistency across BBU
• Ensure continuity / sustainability / flexibility of Bakery Finance structure by supporting open positions and providing onboarding support for new hires
• Backfill, as needed, open Bakery Finance Leader role.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Business Finance, Business Performance, Cost Accounting; preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA or CPA preferred
• Strong computer skills; Oracle ERP and Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
• Self-starter with a proven record of managing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to determine key issues and develop effective action plans

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with financial tools and SOPs development
