About the position

The Manager of Manufacturing Finance at Bimbo Bakeries USA plays a crucial role in supporting Bakery Finance Leaders by ensuring adherence to the Bakery Finance Playbook. This position focuses on driving consistent financial analysis across bakeries, developing financial tools and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and managing deliverables. The role also involves training new hires and providing support for open Bakery Finance positions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner for Bakery Finance Leadership, providing support, guidance, and training on efficient operational methods.
• Develop and maintain a Bakery Finance Playbook to create consistency across Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU).
• Collaborate with bakeries to identify, design, and develop systems, tools, and processes that drive efficiency across BBU.
• Provide continuous training for Bakery Finance Leaders to ensure understanding and compliance with expectations and requirements.
• Communicate new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively to maintain consistency across BBU.
• Support open positions in Bakery Finance and assist in onboarding new hires, including travel to various bakeries as needed.
• Backfill open Bakery Finance Leader roles as necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Finance, Business Performance, or Cost Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred.
• Strong computer skills, with experience in Oracle ERP and Hyperion Essbase preferred.
• Self-starter with a proven record of managing priorities and meeting deadlines, demonstrating solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to partner with other functional leaders and challenge teams to find optimal solutions to business opportunities.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify key issues and develop effective action plans.
