About the position

The Manager of Market Accounting at SCA Health is responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of market accountants, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for assigned facilities. This role emphasizes the development of a customer-focused culture, process improvement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance financial operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and mentor market accountants, building knowledge bases within the team.
• Create a culture of achievement focused on customer service and team growth.
• Review financial data for assigned facilities, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of facility-level financial statements and summarize key trends for management reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate partnership financial statements with appropriate internal controls.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within Market Accounting and Support Services.
• Assist management with oversight of special projects and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain quality relationships with Support Services and facility teammates.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years' experience in corporate or public accounting; healthcare experience preferred.
• 2+ years management experience required.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills.
