About the position

The Marketing Analytics Manager at EssilorLuxottica is responsible for delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to enhance business performance and optimize marketing programs. This role involves collaborating with brand managers and directors to analyze business performance, manage marketing budgets, and lead data harmonization processes, ensuring accurate data for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business performance diagnosis of eyewear brands, focusing on the frame business through dashboards and deep-dive analytics.
  • Act as a strategic partner to brand managers and directors in building monthly business reviews for executive management, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending corrective action plans.
  • Manage the frame portion of the yearly marketing budget planning and optimization, including forecasting marketing initiatives' outcomes and ROIs.
  • Lead data harmonization processes, partnering with Finance, Sales Operation, Business Planning, Business Analytics, and IT to ensure data accuracy.
  • Optimize marketing campaigns and product launches, co-designing customer targeting segmentations with sales and marketing managers, and measuring their effectiveness.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative industry analytics and competitive intelligence to understand market trends and identify market gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management Science, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or Finance.
  • 4+ years of experience in an analytics position.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with key business partners positively impacting business growth.
  • Highly skilled in communicating and presenting results to executives.
  • Intellectual curiosity to proactively explore data, solve problems, challenge existing ways of doing things, formulate new hypotheses, and rigorously analyze them.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, with experience in either Tableau, SQL, Business Objects or similar BI tool.
