About the position

The Marketing Automation Manager at James Hardie Building Products will lead the execution and optimization of automated lead nurturing and conversion campaigns. This role is crucial for driving sustainable results and achieving established KPI targets through effective marketing strategies that engage both consumers and trade professionals. The manager will utilize advanced analytics to understand customer behavior and provide insights to enhance marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution and optimization of automated lead nurturing and conversion campaigns.
  • Drive sustainable results focusing on lower funnel engagement and conversion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer segments and their decision journeys.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to media, demand-generation, and digital marketing teams.
  • Analyze customer data to support Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing automation platform, Marketo.
  • Provide insights on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Initiate and implement CRM initiatives to boost brand preference and customer retention.
  • Oversee campaign performance reporting and analytics to inform channel optimization.
  • Manage integrations that support marketing partner, reporting, and CRM integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or 8+ years of experience.
  • 8+ years' experience with CRM/database marketing and customer analytics, preferably with Marketo and Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with HTML.
  • Strong technical and creative skills, especially in written communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Independent thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working with multiple departments and personnel.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills that encourage team achievement.
