About the position

Ingredion is seeking a Marketing Communications Activation Manager for the US/Canada region, based in Westchester or Bridgewater. This role is pivotal in supporting marketing communications activities, including content development, and will assist in deploying the global Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) plan tailored for the region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional marketing leadership and the Marcoms and Digital Centers of Excellence (COEs). The position involves driving the development and adaptation of creative and copywriting for various marketing communications activities and materials, coordinating with agency partners, and managing approvals, marketing calendars, and timelines. Reporting to the Marcom Manager, USCA, this role is integral to ensuring that marketing communications are effective and aligned with the company's strategic goals. As the Marketing Communications Activation Manager, you will manage deliverables for assigned programs and projects within the region. This includes writing briefs, briefing agencies, creating detailed project plans, and managing timelines and deliverables. You will support the regional team in developing and delivering impactful communications plans and go-to-market tools for new product launches. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including category marketing, technical, and sales teams, is essential to develop the necessary enablement materials for the region. You will also craft compelling narratives that resonate with B2B customers and develop high-quality content that engages these audiences. In addition, you will work with global MarCom and Digital COEs to ensure that all marketing communications collateral is current and maintain digital content. The role requires managing the creative and content development process for various marketing communications activities, including website content, thought leadership, social media content, video production, and event management. You will also oversee the regulatory and legal review process for external materials to ensure compliance with company standards and brand guidelines. This position is well-suited for individuals who possess strong marketing communications skills, are excellent collaborators, and can operate independently under pressure while managing multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Marketing Communications deliverables for assigned programs/projects within the region, including writing briefs/briefing agency, creating detailed project plans, managing timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support region team in development and delivery of high impact communications plans and go-to-market tools for regional new product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including category marketing, technical and sales teams to develop necessary G2M enablement materials needed for the region.
  • Develop regional product focused materials to bottom of funnel and last-mile engagements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define activation goals, target audience, and messaging.
  • Craft compelling narratives that resonate with B2B customers and develop high-quality content that engages B2B audiences.
  • Ensure all relevant marketing communications collateral is up to date, and maintain digital content in collaboration with global MarCom and Digital COEs.
  • Manage process for creative and content development of marketing communications activities and materials including website content, thought leadership, social media content, video production, live and virtual events, and new products; coordinate activities with agency partners.
  • Manage regulatory and legal review process for external facing materials to ensure we consistently release compliant materials.
  • Ensure all communications materials are in line with company's brand guidelines.
  • Manage all assigned programs/projects within Content Management Platform (CMP) tool.
  • Assist with tradeshows/events management, coordination and activation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent know-how in communications, marketing, or a related function.
  • 5-8 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in a global B2B environment; food and beverage industry experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office applications and related business and communication tools, including Adobe® Acrobat, Photoshop; Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, and CMP tool(s).
  • A project portfolio that demonstrates your abilities in marketing communications planning, design, and implementation including new product launches and events.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong copy writing skills.
  • Flexible, responsive and works well on own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator; strong presentation skills.
  • Native English speaker or high fluency both written and verbal.
