About the position

The Manager of Marketing Communications & Thought Leadership is responsible for enhancing internal and external communication efforts within the Cell Culture Cell Therapy business. This role requires a strong understanding of the biotech and biopharma landscape, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to develop thought leadership initiatives that align with strategic marketing objectives and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies that engage employees and align with business objectives.
• Implement internal communication plans across multiple channels, including Business Town Halls and internal social media.
• Build and deliver internal communication materials such as newsletters and presentations.
• Lead and optimize internal communication channels, including the intranet and email updates.
• Collaborate with leadership to gather insights for internal communications.
• Monitor and adjust internal communication initiatives for efficiency.
• Develop and implement customer thought leadership initiatives to enhance brand reputation.
• Use storytelling to engage target customers with compelling narratives.
• Identify key industry trends to shape thought leadership strategies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership content.
• Establish and manage relationships with external partners and media outlets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field, particularly in biotech or biopharma.
• Experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
• Proven experience in crafting and leading thought leadership initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with storytelling ability.
• Strong project management skills to balance multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
• Knowledge of industry trends and translating them into communication strategies.
