About the position

The Manager of Marketing Communications & Thought Leadership is responsible for enhancing internal and external communication efforts within the Cell Culture Cell Therapy business. This role requires a strong understanding of the biotech and biopharma landscape, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to develop thought leadership initiatives that align with strategic marketing objectives and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that engage employees and align with business objectives.
  • Implement internal communication plans across multiple channels, including Business Town Halls and leadership emails.
  • Build and deliver internal communication materials such as newsletters and presentations.
  • Lead and optimize internal communication channels, including the intranet and email updates.
  • Collaborate with the CCCT leadership team to gather insights for internal communications.
  • Monitor and adjust internal communication initiatives for efficiency.
  • Develop and implement customer thought leadership initiatives to improve brand reputation.
  • Use storytelling to attract and engage target customers with compelling narratives.
  • Identify and maximize key industry trends to shape thought leadership strategies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to build thought leadership content such as podcasts and whitepapers.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external partners and media outlets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field, focusing on the biotech or biopharma industry.
  • Validated experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
  • Experience in crafting and leading thought leadership initiatives and content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with storytelling ability.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to translate them into impactful communication strategies.
