About the position

The Marketing Communications Manager at Straumann Group is responsible for developing and executing the integrated marketing communications strategy for North America. This role involves managing a mix of traditional and digital marketing tactics to drive audience engagement and return on investment (ROI). The position serves as a central point for all marketing communications in North America, supporting various divisions including dental, lab, digital dentistry, eCommerce, education, and practice growth services.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement creative marketing tactics that differentiate Straumann Group brands from competitors.
  • Generate engaging content to support an integrated marketing strategy.
  • Identify effective communication channels and provide appropriate messaging.
  • Strategize and implement campaigns using both traditional and digital marketing tactics.
  • Manage media plans, communication calendars, and internal/external communications.
  • Develop marketing materials for product launches, campaigns, and sales meetings.
  • Create and maintain project plans to ensure timely project execution.
  • Provide guidance to product management and cross-functional teams on local marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Team to optimize digital advertising and social media channels.
  • Create and manage MarCom budgets in collaboration with product management and senior leadership.
  • Participate in trade shows and develop creative visuals for promotions.
  • Travel with sales representatives to understand the customer base and business better.
  • Monitor program success and ROI analytics, reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Solicit input from customers and sales to develop new marketing collateral.
  • Assess and revise existing marketing materials, leveraging digital formats.
  • Develop relationships with peers at headquarters to align on brand strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador ensuring all materials adhere to corporate branding standards.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Communications role developing content and implementing campaigns.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, and advertising.
  • 5+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy.
  • 5+ years of experience in campaign design and execution.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Digital marketing certificate.
  • Previous experience in graphic design, data analytics, and creating dashboards.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proven lead generation expertise resulting in ROI.
  • Strong communications and time-management skills.
