About the position

The Manager of Marketing & Community Relations at United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra is responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and community engagement. This role involves creating high-quality content across various platforms, coordinating marketing efforts, and analyzing performance metrics to drive growth and impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the content marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and community engagement.
• Create high-quality content for social media, emails, blog posts, and the UWNNS website.
• Strategize, plan, and execute a content calendar.
• Coordinate with resource development and community impact teams to collect content for marketing campaigns.
• Use Canva to develop visual assets including flyers and social graphics.
• Track and report social media analytics to measure success and drive growth.
• Stay updated with industry trends to inform content strategy.
• Identify and execute on-site tabling events.
• Assist with administrative duties related to marketing materials.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in content marketing or social media content creation and management.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Exceptional copywriting and editing skills.
• Graphic design experience is a plus.
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience using Drupal, Canva, Adobe Premiere, and Meta Business Suite is a plus.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and analyze content performance.
• Excellent project management skills.
