About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager at PMI is responsible for streamlining the marketing team's operations, enhancing marketing effectiveness, and advancing marketing priorities. This role operates at tactical, strategic, and operational levels, focusing on optimizing processes, leveraging marketing technology, and managing vendor relationships to ensure efficient marketing delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the investigation, implementation, and training on marketing technology (Martech) to increase productivity.
  • Train team members on Martech tools and best practices to maximize usage and enhance productivity.
  • Promote the adoption of AI tools and practices across the marketing team.
  • Create and optimize the marketing operating system to provide visibility, data, and predictability on resource allocation and planning processes.
  • Keep documentation up to date and continuously improve marketing processes with data-driven recommendations.
  • Support coordination of strategic planning and compilation of business reporting.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, tracking financial accruals, and monitoring budget utilization.
  • Manage Jira tickets and procurement requirements for marketing spend.
  • Support vendor relations and evaluate vendor performance and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing marketing operational strategies and Martech usage in distributed teams.
  • Experience in a strategic and creative environment with internal resources and external agencies.
  • Familiarity with Martech tools including Monday.com, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sitecore, Marketing Automation, Adobe Analytics, ChatGPT, Grammarly, Adobe Firefly, Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience in agency or internal agency estimating work, trafficking projects, and resource management.
  • Strong business reporting and analytics skills.
  • Experience working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English; PMP certification preferred.
