About the position

The Marketing Manager for Pureology at L'Oréal is responsible for executing strategic marketing plans to enhance market share within the professional and prestige haircare sectors. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies across various channels, including Saloncentric, Ulta, Sephora, and Amazon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong digital background, project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Brand Director to translate Pureology's big bets into omnichannel animations for key channels.
  • Ensure execution of strategic marketing plans to win and grow market share.
  • Develop strategic activation calendar through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support Account Planning Process including managing deck creation and ensuring accuracy.
  • Map promotions and identify business/timing concerns.
  • Support execution of marketing aspects of the brand's strategic go-to-market plans.
  • Partner closely with global, digital, and e-retail teams for content management and optimizations.
  • Ensure timely creative briefs with clear program objectives and manage timelines for delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to test and learn new approaches for various retailers.
  • Support marketing-led external brand partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in Marketing or related function.
  • Experience with both Saloncentric and Consumer channels (Sephora, Ulta, Amazon) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the professional hair industry.
  • Proactive and results-oriented thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written forms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically.
