About the position

As the Manager of Marketing for Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand at Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in connecting diverse individuals to fulfilling careers within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the employer brand, empower recruiting teams, and improve the candidate experience, ultimately helping potential candidates understand why Walmart is an excellent place to build their careers. You will be part of the Recruitment Marketing & Brand Global Center of Excellence, which supports Walmart, the Fortune One company and the second-largest employment platform globally. Your work will involve collaborating with People teams and retail staff to communicate Walmart's value proposition effectively and attract the right candidates. In this role, you will develop strategic marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring target demographics, creating channel strategies, and building campaigns that resonate with audiences throughout their candidate journey. You will produce compelling stories and visuals, guiding agencies and internal partners in various aspects of marketing, including web and graphic design, video production, media buying, and copywriting. Additionally, you will select tools and channels to improve the usage of CRM, CMS, and social media, employing tactics such as SEO, SEM, and content marketing to achieve conversions. Building strategic relationships will be crucial, as you will work with vendors to understand their products and capabilities while also fostering internal partnerships to support shared goals. You will promote enterprise and team success by partnering with agencies to track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring that your marketing efforts are effective and impactful. Operating with discipline, you will manage goals, deliver quality work, and continuously learn to adapt to the evolving landscape of recruitment marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic campaigns to acquire target demographics and create channel strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field and 2 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 4 years' experience in marketing or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Recruitment Marketing and design thinking.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent visual communication skills to simplify complex subjects.
  • Experience in holding project contributors accountable.
