About the position

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to enhance its brand presence across various social media platforms. This role focuses on developing engaging content that drives audience growth and brand awareness for Verano's retail entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, a passion for storytelling, and a genuine interest in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Create editorial/content calendars and publish daily content to engage community members.
• Copywrite creative and concise content that reflects the brands' tone and voice.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to build a best-in-class social media strategy.
• Track and analyze social KPIs, providing insights for future strategy adjustments.
• Assist in overseeing social-related operations such as event planning and activation ideation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience in social media management.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Sprout, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
• Ability to adapt to change and work under tight deadlines.
• Genuine interest in and passion for the cannabis industry.

• Experience with photography or videography.
