About the position

The Manager, Marketing Technologies at Tailored Brands is a pivotal role within the Technology team, responsible for overseeing marketing technology initiatives that enhance customer engagement and retention. This position involves managing a team, implementing marketing platforms, and collaborating with various business leaders to align technology solutions with business goals. The role requires a strategic mindset to evaluate new technologies and optimize the customer journey through effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new Martech and Adtech technologies to improve customer engagement, retention, and lead generation.
  • Manage and implement marketing platforms such as email marketing, campaign management, SMS, loyalty, and personalization tools.
  • Enable and manage integrations with adtech platforms including affiliates, social media, and DSPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with business goals.
  • Design and implement marketing technology strategies and workflows to optimize the customer journey.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and incorporate them into the company's strategy.
  • Manage a team of permanent employees and consultants, mentoring them for success.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of employees, setting and monitoring goals.
  • Oversee project implementation and vendor negotiations, seeking cost-saving opportunities.
  • Train marketing teams on the use of marketing technology tools and monitor performance data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in implementing customer communication channels such as Email and SMS.
  • 7+ years of experience building and leading high-performing technology teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both technical and business partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience integrating various marketing and advertising tools into a cohesive system.
  • Thorough understanding of campaign life cycles and management solutions for digital campaigns.
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar, multiyear IT programs with multiple vendors.
