About the position

The Manager, Marketing Technologies at Tailored Brands is a pivotal role that focuses on enhancing customer engagement and retention through the implementation and management of marketing technology systems. This position involves collaborating with various business leaders to support marketing initiatives, evaluate new technologies, and optimize the customer journey through effective marketing strategies. The role also includes managing a team, overseeing vendor relationships, and ensuring that marketing technology tools are effectively utilized across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new Martech and Adtech technologies to improve customer engagement, retention, and lead generation.
  • Manage and implement marketing platforms such as email marketing platforms, campaign management, ESPs, SMS, loyalty, personalization, DAM, PAM, and GTM platforms.
  • Enable and manage integrations with adtech platforms such as affiliates, social media, video, ad exchange, and DSP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology solutions align with overall business goals.
  • Design and implement marketing technology strategies and workflows to optimize the customer journey.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and incorporate them into the company's strategy.
  • Manage a team of permanent employees and consultants, mentoring them to be successful.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of employees, setting and monitoring goals.
  • Responsible for the implementation of projects and vendor negotiations, seeking cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage and train marketing teams on the use of marketing technology tools.
  • Monitor and analyze data from marketing technology tools to measure and improve performance.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing technology budget.
  • Provide and maintain technical documentation, training, and support for stakeholders to effectively use marketing technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in implementing customer communication channels such as Email and SMS.
  • 7+ years of experience building and leading high-performing technology teams.
  • Experience with personalization platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both technical and business partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Integration of various marketing and advertising tools (e.g., CRM, automation platforms, DSPs, DMPs, CDPs) into a cohesive system.
  • Thorough understanding of campaign life cycles and extensive management of solutions for digital campaign management.
  • Experience in managing multiyear multimillion-dollar programs with multiple vendors.
  • High intellectual curiosity and work ethic.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with vendor management and negotiations.
  • Familiarity with budget management in marketing technology.
