About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager at Highmark Health will lead the optimization and transformation of marketing operations processes, focusing on driving efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record in organizational change. The successful candidate will possess operations expertise to optimize marketing processes and technology, along with leadership skills to guide teams through significant transformations.

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control the day-to-day operations of the marketing department.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive 3-5-year marketing operations transformation roadmap.
• Implement and optimize marketing work management tools such as Adobe Workfront and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Establish a marketing operations center of excellence to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
• Implement agile methodologies to increase speed-to-market and scalability.
• Architect and implement a future-state vision for the marketing operations technology stack.
• Evaluate and implement Gen AI tools to enhance marketing operations and content development.
• Drive a culture of data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
• Develop a governance framework for rapid experimentation and iteration of marketing operation strategies.
• Regularly report transformation progress to marketing leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Lead change management initiatives, including developing communication plans and training programs.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing operations specialists.
• Develop and manage budget for marketing operations transformation initiatives.
• Develop a comprehensive framework for measuring marketing operations ROI.
• Implement performance dashboards providing real-time insights to drive decision making.

Requirements

• 5 years of management or leadership experience.
• 5 years of marketing operations implementation and optimization experience.
• 5 years of proven track record of successfully leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• 5 years of expert knowledge of marketing work management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of deep expertise in marketing operations technology, data analytics, and agile methodologies.
• 5 years of professional experience using technology, tools, and AI in a marketing function.
• 3 years of experience in managing budgets and diverse teams.
