About the position

The Brand Manager (Temporary) at Gildan Activewear Inc. is responsible for adapting brand strategies to target markets while ensuring brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications. This role involves overseeing budget responsibilities, setting brand guidelines, planning communications, and analyzing the success of marketing campaigns. The position is integral to the Marketing Department and reports directly to the Director of Brand Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordinator and advisor budget responsibilities.
  • Review scopes from partners and evaluate against brand team needs vs overall budget.
  • Set style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value proposition.
  • Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative.
  • Plan and execute all communications and media actions on all channels.
  • Develop, review, and approve the work back schedule (WBS).
  • Discuss and review WBS with other stakeholders and anticipate issues.
  • Analyze the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate and control the costs of production and timelines before, during, and after project completions.
  • Assist with the development of the annual marketing calendars and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • At least ten (10) years' relevant experience.
  • Previous wholesale or apparel marketing experience would be an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage workflows.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
