About the position

The Golden State Warriors are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to oversee various marketing operations and programs, including Brand Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Lifecycle Marketing, Game Experience, Retail, and the Warriors Basketball Academy. This role involves collaborating with the Marketing and Studio teams to develop and execute integrated marketing plans, contributing to the growth of the organization while valuing initiative and dedication. The position is full-time and based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategic campaign plans for Warriors brand initiatives to increase brand health, fan satisfaction, revenue, and community engagement.
  • Work closely with internal Marketing teams to align on content creation, media planning/implementation, and promotional support through owned or paid media.
  • Collaborate with the internal Studio team on campaign development, including brief writing, budget planning, production timelines, and deliverables, while providing ongoing creative direction.
  • Create marketing strategies, media plans, deliverables, and activations to meet client goals.
  • Oversee master project timelines for deliverables, distribution of creative materials, promotional merchandise plans, and related marketing materials.
  • Drive cross-functional meetings to align on marketing initiatives, set agendas, encourage participation, and recap next steps.
  • Serve as a brand steward to promote the socialization and adoption of brand guidelines, creative review, and ongoing refreshes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience within marketing or creative services, preferably in the sports/entertainment industry.
  • Prior experience in entertainment or sports marketing or account management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and resolution skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
