About the position

The Manager, Master Data Governance at Sol de Janeiro is responsible for leading the development and implementation of master data governance strategies and practices. This role ensures the quality, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization while collaborating with various stakeholders to support global master data management needs. The position emphasizes data quality controls, compliance with standards, and promoting a culture of data governance within the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Master Data Governance strategy, implementation, rules, and standard practices.
• Work closely with business leaders to ensure alignment on master data requirements and proper data stewardship.
• Implement data quality controls and processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Define and manage key data governance metrics and KPIs to track data quality and governance protocols.
• Promote a culture of data governance across the organization by providing training and guidance to business leaders.
• Continuously assess and improve data governance processes to adapt to changing business needs, technologies, and regulatory environments.
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making by ensuring clean, secure, and compliant data is available for analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• 1-2+ years' experience in Operations and Supply Chain.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Attention to detail for analyzing data and shipping routes.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively and efficiently independently.
• Strong business sense and experience in a small to medium-sized business environment.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Beauty Industry experience is preferred.
