About the position

The Manager Medicaid Plan Marketing is responsible for leading and coordinating marketing initiatives aimed at membership growth, retention, and acquisition for Medicaid plans. This role involves developing marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the training and performance of direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Develops short and long term marketing and retention strategies and objectives.
• Directs and coordinates activities of the business initiative to assure alignment with corporate goals.
• Researches and evaluates competitive activity.
• Develops and implements an effective tracking mechanism for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities and productivity.
• Develops and conducts office and field rep training methods.
• Oversees the quality control process and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with state and municipal laws, rules, and guidelines for marketing and outreach.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA preferred.
• Experience with MS Office Suite preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Bronx or Manhattan marketplace strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years experience leading a sales team preferred.
• Medicaid experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends preferred.
