About the position

The Manager, Medical Information, Payer and Health Systems at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is responsible for developing and disseminating scientific content and materials tailored for Payers, Healthcare Intermediaries, and Health Systems. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality payer scientific content and metrics reporting, ultimately supporting the company's healthcare innovation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and timely dissemination of tailored, evidence-based scientific materials for assigned therapeutic area products.
  • Review and approve Payer regulated content as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Support the development of AMCP standard and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary requests, and custom requests in collaboration with Medical Affairs and RW V&E leads.
  • Engage in shaping and developing Payer Digital Assets with Med Info CSI-Digital partners.
  • Guide the creation and delivery of responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests from Payers and Health Systems in collaboration with various teams.
  • Support the dissemination of scientific information to Clinical Decision Resource Organizations (CDRO) in partnership with Medical Information Affairs and other teams.
  • Evaluate strategies for compendia interactions in collaboration with business partners.
  • Optimize delivery of high-quality Payer scientific content and materials by vendors, providing feedback and scientific review as needed.
  • Leverage voice of customer insights to enhance Payer and Health Systems materials development.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and conduct research on the landscape of Payer and Health Systems.

Requirements

  • MS or equivalent in Pharmacy or related science field required.
  • 2-4 years' experience in Medical Information or Health Economics and Outcomes Research or specialized postdoctoral training in the field.
  • Expertise in the healthcare industry and clinical knowledge across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, both written and presentation.
  • Customer-focused with an understanding of the healthcare landscape.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of United States health care systems and payers, particularly managed care and public sector perspectives.
