About the position

The Manager, NABPAC at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is responsible for providing financial, data, and administrative support to the NAB Political Action Committee (NABPAC). This role serves as the primary contact for NABPAC compliance with Federal Election Commission (FEC) guidelines and regulations, overseeing the donor database system and assisting with executive-level meetings and events. The position plays a crucial role in executing the NABPAC fundraising plan and engaging with donors to enhance fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Vice President, NABPAC and Advocacy Initiatives to execute the NABPAC fundraising plan and ensure compliance with bylaws and deadlines.
  • Engage with donors outside of the Trustee group and manage Trustee data and requests throughout the year.
  • Develop analytics to track fundraising efforts and coordinate across NAB departments.
  • Lead cross-department initiatives including Salesforce integration and marketing outreach.
  • Establish and grow Trustee cohorts for future PAC and advocacy leaders.
  • Oversee fundraising requests, check requests, and disbursements for NABPAC in coordination with the Government Relations team.
  • Manage the incoming receipts process and maintain the NABPAC disbursement budget.
  • Serve as the system expert for the donor database and train other staff as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly FEC reports and maintain compliance with FEC regulations.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the NABPAC marketing plan and manage donor communications.
  • Coordinate logistical planning for NABPAC fundraising events and meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day support to increase departmental efficiency and manage stakeholder outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of related experience in financial and administrative support.
  • Experience processing large sums of disbursements, receipts, and payroll contributions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Aristotle database.
  • Knowledge of FEC compliance guidelines.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to work under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Quorum database.
