About the position

As a Manager of Network Engineering at Spectrum Enterprise, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for monitoring client installation sites, conducting issue isolation, and ensuring resolution. This role involves recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performance team to achieve quality results while supporting client growth and operational initiatives. You will be part of a dynamic environment that emphasizes collaboration and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Guide a team of engineers to monitor client installation sites and conduct issue isolation and resolution.
  • Achieve predetermined production and performance metrics as a role model in the department.
  • Accurately report all issues and enter them in the appropriate database.
  • Collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.
  • Provide engineering support and direction for new and existing technologies and operational initiatives.
  • Coach team members to exceed individual metrics and goals.
  • Complete reports efficiently and accurately for senior leadership.
  • Establish positive team relations through effective communication and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of project management experience.
  • Three or more years of management experience in a 24/7 operations center.
  • Six or more years of network operations and implementation experience.
  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with network and element management tools.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, SNMP, and HFC networks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong issue resolution, prioritization, organizational, analytical, and English communication skills.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
