About the position

To support our continued growth in USCA, Shutterstock is seeking a Manager for our New Business Team. Your mission will be to focus on coaching and developing a team of Sales Executives to achieve sales targets by driving and optimizing our SMB customer acquisition. This person will be located in our office in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, manage & mentor a team of dynamic Sales Executives focusing on the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Manage the performance & learning/development of the team: be an awesome coach, motivate your team, set goals & provide a path for your reps to succeed
  • Meet & exceed sales objectives by driving team to deliver against KPI's including inbound and outbound leads consumption and conversion rates, Account Average value
  • Establish, enforce and improve the sales processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness working closely with Sales Ops & the Sales Enablement teams
  • Drive proactive acquisition and upsell strategies for both inbound and outbound channels
  • Manage the team via metrics and report on their success

Requirements

  • Sales Management experience with positive proven track record of success
  • Experience managing fast-paced, dynamic sales teams, preferably with an SME focus
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and process-driven
  • Comfortable with data and analytics
  • Track record in sales with a focus on Retention and Expansion
  • Ability to foster relationships with key decision makers
  • Understanding of the creative/marketing/media industry
  • Proficient in Salesforce (or another CRM/MAP) and Excel
