As a Manager of New Product Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and launch of new products within the organization. This role involves managing the entire product development process from concept through production, ensuring products meet market demands and align with the company's strategic goals. You will lead the mechanical seals product development team in designing, developing, and bringing new products to market. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, design, and sales, to ensure new products align with the company's objectives and customer expectations. In this position, you will collaborate with marketing to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new product development that aligns with the company's vision and goals. You will lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products from ideation to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, you will oversee the product design process, collaborating with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative and high-quality products. You will also manage the product development lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and production, while ensuring product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery through collaboration with supply chain and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new product development that aligns with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products from ideation to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the product design process, collaborating with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative and high-quality products.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with regulatory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure products meet all industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 8-12 designers and engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, performance goals, and development plans for team members.
  • Drive a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8 years of engineering experience.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
