About the position

The Manager, Nursing Talent Acquisition at Huntington Hospital is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies for nursing and clinical staff. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing candidates, and negotiating offers to meet the hospital's talent objectives. The manager will also provide strategic consulting on recruitment processes and compliance, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and establish effective nursing and clinical recruitment strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify business needs from a resourcing perspective by collaborating with clients and recruiters.
  • Source, assess, and negotiate offers for nursing candidates.
  • Provide strategic consulting on recruitment processes, compliance, and expectation setting.
  • Partner with operations management and HR team members to meet talent objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically in nursing recruitment.
  • Experience with Workday highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and market trends related to talent acquisition.
  • General knowledge of employment law and high-volume recruiting processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
