About the position

The Manager of IT will oversee the management and migration of Microsoft O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, and related cloud infrastructure for a leading financial bond trading firm in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial for designing and implementing new applications while ensuring the smooth operation of existing systems. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft O365, Azure, and Exchange.
• Manage and oversee the migration of applications to cloud environments.
• Ensure the security and compliance of Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure AD systems.
• Lead a team in the administration and support of Microsoft Exchange and related services.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding IT infrastructure and project updates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing Active Directory, Exchange, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Exchange administration and support.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements related to Active Directory and cloud services.
• Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
