About the position

The Manager of Accounting is responsible for overseeing financial operations and general ledger processes, reporting directly to the Director of Accounting Operations. This role involves collaboration with various departments to enhance financial success and provide insights for decision-making. The position is designed for a candidate who is looking to grow long-term with the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Accounting Operations with financial operations and general ledger processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to drive financial success.
• Provide insights for decision-making based on financial data.
• Manage a team of 3-5 accounting professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• At least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing accounting operations and maintaining financial reporting.
• Adept at working with large volumes of transactions.
• Comfortable in a rapid growth company with multiple locations.
• Collaborative work style.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly high proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience with various ERP and financial reporting systems, particularly Great Plains or Dynamics.
