About the position

The Manager of Business Intelligence and Sales Operations at Henkel is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of business analytics to support organizational objectives. This role focuses on data management, visualization, and fostering a culture of analytics-driven decision-making across the company. The manager will oversee the development of dashboards and reports, ensuring data quality and governance, while also mentoring the analyst community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business analytics strategy and development roadmap to support business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead the execution of the dashboard development roadmap; launch accurate, insightful, and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
  • Establish standards for structuring 3rd party data within the Henkel data management infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and recommend BI tools to enhance data analytics capabilities.
  • Manage business intelligence projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide professional development and mentorship for the analyst community.
  • Lead prioritized continuous improvement projects in support of the Sales Organization.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to establish KPIs and reports/dashboards focusing on customer and market performance.
  • Partner with Henkel global IT, DQM, and Analytics partners to implement best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in category management or a similar role within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Microsoft PowerBI preferred).
  • Experience establishing and maintaining data management platforms (i.e. data lake).
  • Experience with leveraging customer point of sale (POS) data to measure and optimize performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading teams or projects in a business intelligence context.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
