About the position

The Manager of Business Operations at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is responsible for synchronizing operational activities for Integrated Services. This role involves creating and managing process improvement strategies and cross-functional workforce development strategies to ensure alignment between internal business organizations. The position reports to the Senior Executive Officer of Integrated Services and focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee organizational governance and operational processes to ensure alignment with the SEO's overall strategy and goals.
  • Develop synergy across operations-driven activities, ensuring smooth coordination among all departments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by optimizing business processes and building a process-managed organization.
  • Provide direct operational support for the SEO, including financial management, process improvement, and administrative oversight.
  • Oversee daily operational tasks such as resource allocation, vendor management, performance tracking, and workflow optimization.
  • Standardize financial and operational processes, including financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Focus on the human and organizational aspects of process improvement, optimizing value streams across the organization.
  • Identify and implement performance metrics and incentives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct meetings in the absence of the SEO.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field or 4 years of related work experience
  • 10 years of Business Management experience
  • 10 years of experience collaborating business development with increasing responsibility
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues
  • Familiar with project management and implementation processes
  • Intermediate analytical skills and customer service abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Great communication and presentation skills
