About the position

The Manager of Clinical Operations at Mass General Brigham Medical Group is responsible for overseeing clinical programs and operations related to nursing and clinical support staff. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulations, enhancing staff competencies, and implementing care delivery models that improve patient experiences and outcomes. The position requires collaboration with operational leaders to foster a positive clinical environment and drive quality and safety performance across practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical leader, coach, and mentor to nursing and clinical support staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for clinical staff and practice locations.
• Develop and implement educational programs for RN, LPN, and MA staff.
• Collaborate with practice managers to develop clinical programs and set operational goals.
• Lead the evaluation of quality and safety metrics and implement improvement programs.
• Partner with Medical Directors to develop plans that advance clinical practice.
• Foster a positive clinical environment that promotes teamwork and patient care.
• Manage fiscal responsibilities for clinical programs and recommend cost-saving measures.

Requirements

• Active State of MA Registered Nursing License.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a relevant clinical area.
• Prior leadership experience in clinical operations or program management.
